At the end of January, in the Oblast de Vologda, the Bristol and Red & Beloye stores began to close the alcohol. On March 1, a law will enter into force in the region, which will limit the retail sale of alcohol with two hours on business days. Group X5 said they did not plan to change the variety in the Vologda region, despite the new restrictions.

Before this, on December 17, the State Duma adopted in the second and third reading the law on criminal punishment for the advantage of tobacco assets to minors. In addition, in March 2025, the State Duma may consider the bill with the complete prohibition of the retail sale of wipes and liquids for them.
