According to the bill, markets may be obliged to show products from Russian manufacturers in “the first five positions in their catalogs or by showing proposals based on the results of the consumer search application.” At the same time, the message on the SRZP website says we are talking about the first 15 positions.
It establishes that the purpose of the initiative is to provide an advantage to Russian manufacturers, stimulate their growth and improve the sale of products. According to the authors of the project, this will help the development of the national industry, will strengthen the competitiveness of Russian goods, as well as increase the use of the population and tax revenues to the budget.
On the subject: markets: where to start and how to succeed
“First ours, then yours. Then online showcases should work. With each search, only national products are at the top. Buying, each of us contributes to the future of the country. This can be considered an investment, ”said Dmitry Gasev, the first deputy chief of the SRZP faction in the state Duma.
He added that the measure will be useful for buyers, since they are local manufacturers who can offer unique products “from sweet high honey to Chebokyly knitted fabrics.” “In addition, so that we can declare ourselves to everyone. After all, our markets now go to the international arena, ”said the deputy.
On February 4, the Federal Antitropolio Service forced the Wildberries and Ozon markets until February 28, 2025 to develop a transparent discount mechanism that will act only with the consent of the vendors. “In the case of lack of compliance with warnings within the prescribed period, the service will initiate cases of violation of antimonopoly legislation,” warned the regulator.
