Between 16-27 August, the pirates of computer accessed the HSHS network and potentially missed secret data such as names, addresses, date of birth, medical records, social insurance numbers and driver’s license. Although there are no confirmed cases for the use of these data, HSHS recommends that affected patients to monitor their financial accounts for suspicious activities.
No hacker group took responsibility. HSHS hired cyber security experts to investigate and restore systems.
