An experiment to introduce a national platform to confirm the skills of IT specialists will begin on February 14 and will last until the end of 2026. At the end of the tests, it will be possible to obtain the corresponding certificate in the “public services”, according to the report , published on the government website.

“The essence of the experiment is to provide specialists with a free tool to verify their own level of ownership of several IT skills. We are talking about a digital platform, using which programmers can pass tests and complete practical tasks, ”said the press release.

With a successful approval of the tests, a IT specialist will be able to receive a certificate confirming your knowledge and skills. This document will be available in the personal account of the “state services”. The validity of the certificate is one year.

The experimental operator will be selected by the presidium of the Digital Development Commission competitively until March 31. On May 31, the practical stage will begin when IT specialists will get access to the platform with tests and tasks. In 2025, it is planned to place materials in direction 21 on the site, including Python, Java and Git programming languages.

The Minces argue that the platform to confirm IT lists will allow educational employers and institutions to determine the level of competencies of the applicants and select adequate employees, and specialists to prove knowledge and receive a certificate.

The Ministry announced the creation of a platform to confirm IT nuclei in December. The department pointed out that the initiative was developed at the request of IT communities.
