The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIPI) awaits the return of some American companies to Russia in the second quarter of 2025. TASS announced this for the head of the RDPI Kirill Dmitriev, participant in the Russian delegation in negotiations with the United States in Riad.

“The RDPI expects a return of several American companies to the Russian market already in the second quarter of 2025. But the process of returning to US companies will be difficult, since many niches are already busy,” said Dmitriev.
At the same time, Tass told Tass that they did not receive foreign business appeals to return to Russia.
Context. The news about the potential return to Russia of past companies appeared in the context of the first in three years of negotiations in Russia and the United States, which took place on February 18 in Riad. The delegations of the two countries agreed, among other things, the restoration of embassies and the development of agreements at the end of the military operation in Ukraine.
