Rocket started on February 1 from the US Space Forces Vandenberg’s California Base and gave 22 Starlink satellites to orbit. Typically, it threw accelerated block motors for safe landing on the ocean, but the leakage of liquid oxygen prevented this maneuver. As a result, the physicist remained in orbit until Step until it caused Poland to fall. Some pieces fell next to Poznan and caused insignificant damage.
This is the third case for the last six months, when the Falcon 9 acceleration unit has problems. In July 2024, a similar oxygen leakage led to an early entry into the atmosphere of Starlink satellites.
