Mts Media will launch the Kionfilm Film Studio

Kionfilm will be included in the structure of MTS Media, which is already managing the services of Kion, Mts Live, Mts Music, Lines and Mts Lebble. The study will become the original content production center, including films, series and projects in the unwritten genre.

The general director of the study will be producer Maxim Filatov, who occupies the position of Kion content director for more than five years, and Ilya Burets (creative director of online cinema).

Production potential. Kionfilm plans to produce more than 30 projects per year. These will be artistic and documentary films of full length, series in several genres, as well as in formats without play. An important part of the content will be exclusive to Kion.

Now in the development of the stage there are dozens of projects, said the company. For example, the “Aktrych” comedy with Dmitry Nagiyev and Anton Lapeko, the “reserve” detective drama with Philip Yankovsky and Denis Shvedov, as well as the “Theater” comedy with Nikita Kologiy and Oleg Vereshchagin are being prepared for exit.

The CEO of MTS Middle Sofya Mitrofanova described the appearance of the study a logical step for Kion. “The youngest transmission in Russia quickly won production capabilities and presented to the audience an original project line with its own character and its value system. Now we take production to a separate business and climb it to become high quality content suppliers for the entire Russian film industry, ”said Mitrofanova.
