Citibank Services Live Darkening in the United States

This Tuesday (29), the Citibank banking network, which is used by millions of users around the world, reports too much instability. In social networks, several customers complain that they cannot access company services and the features continue so far.

While trying to enter the company’s official website, an error message shows that the site is “finding a problem and trying to solve the problem”. Users are recommended to try to access again within 15 minutes, but not in vain to access the page.

According to information from the Downdettector monitoring site, more than 150 incidents were reported on Tuesday at 11:00. Over time, the service is stabilized, but the bank’s customers still cannot access the services.

Did Citibank attack Hacker?

The most affected places in the United States are New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. Approximately 46% of users have problems with credit cards, 36% cannot access bank applications for smartphones.

For now, Citibank has not yet officially comment on the darkening in its services. In social networks such as X (Old Twitter), some users speculate about a possible cyber attack against the company, but there is currently no indication that supports this suspicion.

In Brazil, Citi does not seem to have been affected, as he was called here. However, the company plays a different role in the national financial market and focuses on higher income customers and larger companies.
