According to Bloomberg Gourmet, new devices will receive miniature rooms to be integrated with the Apple intelligence system.
This will allow headphones and watches to recognize objects in real time, similar to the visual intelligence function of the latest iPhone models. The cameras will probably be infrared to allow them to use gestures.
In June 2024, the analyst in Ming-Chi Kuo talked about Apple’s plans to start mass production of such AirPods in 2026. According to him, infrared cameras may be the basis of “air” control of the devices by recognizing the movements of the user’s hands.
In addition, Apple is working on smart glasses with cameras, microphones and built-in AIs similar to Ray-Ban stories. It is expected to be released in 2027 and will use processors similar to those used in the Apple Watch, which will provide cross -functionality between instruments.
