Apple agreed for $50 million for the initial collective search from MacBook owners. Users claimed that the company was aware of and covered up all issues related to the butterfly keyboard.

Apple denied all allegations but agreed to compensation. Purchased by MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro owners who purchased laptops from 2015 to 2019 in seven US states: Charles, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Washington. A prerequisite for receiving treatment is to contact the Apple service center.

Compensation develops as follows:

▪️ $125 captured for users, one time replace keyboard in MacBook
