The Bob Pony enthusiast was the first to confirm its compatibility with the new driver, which has removed the Popcnt Instruction Requirement Requirement, RTX 5060 Ti’s outdated Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450. But joy was erk.
Pony said that such an iron did not cope with modern games, especially the rays watching. An example was Quake II RTX, which could not start because of the lack of necessary instructions in the old processor.
This means that despite theoretical compliance, the owners of the old PCs will still face many restrictions.
It is still unknown that how many more relevant games will have problems with such configuration. Perhaps the curious community will help create a list of compatible titles.
