Saratov State Technical University experts engaged in development. They created material based on epoxy resin with reinforcement from basalt or glass fibers. The oddity of technology is the addition of carbon nanotubes or graphene oxidine on the basis of attachment and subsequent microwaves. This made it possible to significantly strengthen the power features of the product.

Composite baths are based on 1,600 megapacal load and are not afraid of moisture, including saline. In this way, they are resistant to corrosion and require much less service. In addition, their densities are four times less than steel, which provides a significant decrease in the total weight of the structure.

Such cracks can be used in the construction of bridges, poles, towers, sports facilities and agricultural machinery. According to developers, technology can be offered to existing production without additional investments in equipment.
