The expert believes that the situation with a shortage of one million personnel is neither good nor bad, but just as it is. However, it is important to articulate the true picture of what is happening. German Klimenko also said that only real IT experts can explain how the future will train their colleagues. But this understanding is also important for the Ministry of National Education.
“First of all, I am sincerely glad that the problem has finally been identified… As staff, we are talking about the fact that we are really in the red. Also, modern security history does not allow the use of remote work in state-owned companies, we need people here. We miss a million people. This is too much. And this is a huge transition to the Ministry of Education. If my memory serves me, we got the release of IT specialists – 150 thousand. The task is to increase them to 250 thousand in a few years. There is also a problem: who will teach, it’s a rather complicated story … And I think no one outside of the (IT) industry can explain what kind of staff is needed, ”the director said. .
