The principle of obtaining an x -ray picture is to convert radiation into visible light and then into a digital image. This process provides special material called Sintillas in the detector. Existing analogs are hard and fragile that limits the size and shape of the devices.
New materials are deprived of these deficiencies. Operating properties can be extended four times without deterioration. However, it does not contain heavy metals such as lead, which makes it safer for the environment.
The main advantage of development is record activity. The material converts almost every x -ray quantum into light signal. This allows you to get more clear and informative pictures with high resolution.
In addition, the material is resistant to water and temperature changes that expand the possibilities of practical application. Flexible detectors can be used to scan complex surfaces in production, to create compact medical systems and appropriate examination devices.
