The best for players is Ryzen 7 9800x3D and more affordable Ryzen 7 7800x3D and Ryzen 5 7600x3D.
Intel was able to pull up thanks to a decrease in prices: Core Ultra 7 took a place in a 265k ranking, but lower than AMD solutions in terms of performance in the games.
In the middle class, Ryzen 5 9600X was the best choice, the core ultra 5 245k is considered as an alternative only at a successful price.
In the budget segment, experts recommend Ryzen 5 7500F and the minimum entry to the current AM5 platform is provided by Ryzen 5 8400F. For working tasks, both flagships – Ryzen 9 9950x3D and Core Ultra 9 285k – are considered equally strong.
In the Hedt segment, AMD has no competitors with the new Threadripper 9000.
In general, it strengthened the AMD position in 2025 games, but Intel still has significant positions in the working segment.
