According to insider information, test versions show that the system is working, which will automatically answer calls from unknown numbers. For this purpose, artificial intelligence will be used to establish a dialogue with the subscriber.
This feature will run in the background, unlike the existing Bixby service that requires manual activation. During a conversation, the smartphone will recognize the interlocutor’s speech and generate responses, as well as display the entire dialogue on the screen in real time. It is also a fake spam filter.
Users will be able to customize search filtering settings according to their preferences. It will be possible to set it at high level – block all unknown numbers, medium – block spam calls, fake calls, international calls and hidden numbers, low – block only approved spam numbers.
It is also not yet known whether the feature will be available worldwide or limited to certain regions and languages.
