The interface received dynamic animations and “smart” lighting that adapts to the user’s actions, for example, when editing a photo or activating the voice assistant.
The lock screen now supports AIGC wallpapers created based on the owner’s font and style. The new Ark Engine speeds up app launches by 11%, page rendering by 21%, and content loading by 30%.
The system now works better with other HUAWEI devices: files can be transferred by touching or dragging, and the smartphone and PC can exchange data directly.
Added StarShield protection features, AI-based anti-spoofing, and “View Once” mode.
The public beta of HarmonyOS 6 begins in China on October 22, 2025. The first ones to receive the update will be Mate 70, Mate 60, Pura 80, Pura 70, Mate X6, Pocket 2 and MatePad Pro 13.2.
