The United States expanded the sanctions and imposed them against the technopark, the institute and the Skolkovo Foundation. The assets and properties of the organizations in the States will be frozen. In addition to Skolkovo, 50 legal entities and 13 individuals fell under the sanctions.
The United States has updated its sanctions list. The names of 13 Russian individuals and 50 Russian legal entities were added. In particular, Skolkovo structures fell under the sanctions: a technological park, a fund and an institute.
Restrictions were also imposed on the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works and its main owner Viktor Rashnikov, businessmen Andrei Melnichenko, Dmitry Pumpyansky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Media Group Alina Kabaeva.
The sanctions mean blocking the assets of individuals and organizations in the United States.
In addition, the United States imposed visa restrictions on more than 900 Russians: civil servants, members of the Federation Council and other officials.
Earlier it became known that the United States and half a year later changed the date of entry into force of sanctions against Russian banks. These include, in particular, Sberbank, VTB, Alfa-Bank. The states will continue to conduct operations with them related to energy resources, the main export resource of the Russian Federation.
