Device type. There are manual and standard (i.e. floor standing) steam cleaners. The latest models are more like vacuum cleaners and are suitable for general cleaning of buildings. Manual models are needed to steam only certain parts of the house. As a rule, such steam cleaners are small in size, so they can be easily taken with you somewhere.

Strength. Several parameters of the steam cleaner depend on this feature. The first is the water heating time until steam appears (it can be 15 minutes for cheap models), the second is the pressure in the boiler and the amount of steam created per minute. Among floor steam cleaners, you need to choose those with a power of at least 1500 W, among manual ones – 900 W.

Sound. Depending on the volume, the steam cleaner’s operating time, heating speed and pressure may vary. If you buy a floor model, check whether their volume is 1-2 liters with a power of 1500-2000 W, if manual – from 250 ml to 0.5 liters.

To make pressure. It is best to choose devices with a large value of this parameter. The minimum indicator is 3 bars, the maximum indicator is 6-7 bars.
