Pictures similar to the upcoming Google Pixel Watch have surfaced. The prototype is said to have been left ‘under questionable circumstances’ and completely ‘accidentally’ at a restaurant in the USA.

Someone who chose to remain anonymous posted the images to Android Central. The Time Shown appears to match the details of the previously leaked images. On the side we see a round clock with a rotating crown placed between two buttons. The hole on the top could be a microphone or an altimeter or something like that. The four pins on the side can be used for testing purposes.

At the bottom, there is a black bezel with a health monitoring sensor in the middle. Android Central’s source says the base is smooth and looks “metallic” but like it’s covered in glass. This is comparable to the back glass of the Apple Watch. When turning the watch on, a white Google logo appeared and nothing more. There was no charger and watch band left behind. The way you wear the straps seems to coincide with the Fitbit Versa and Sense smartwatches.

Thanks to the Ask Me Anything (AMA) post on Reddit, the watch appears to be owned by user u/tagtech414. He shows an image of the Clock on his laptop with a Reddit post in the background. u/tagtech414 says his friend the bartender found the clock at the restaurant where he works and kept it “for a few weeks” waiting for the owners to come and call. Since no one showed up, the bartender friend decided to give the watch to you/tagtech414 because he has declared himself a “tech geek”. As for why the band didn’t wear the watch, he claimed that his friend forgot to give the watch to him, “They were packaged separately and he forgot to bring it, so he sent me pictures of it.” ”

u/tagtech414 also answered some additional questions about the watch’s specs, noting that the bezel is actually quite large, with the dial about 1.5 inches in diameter and half an inch thick. It looks like u/tagtech414 is still updating the post so more info may come soon. In any case, Google doesn’t seem to be looking for the device. u/tagtech414 also says that Google has not yet contacted him.

We’ll find out more details about the Google Pixel Watch at next month’s Google I/O.
