Electric bicycles have become a familiar means of personal mobility. There is no need for something similar, but designed to move on water. The Canadian company envo worked with such a device, and tests in real conditions prepared a crash. The vehicle has been dubbed the Hydra Water Bike and could be the subject of discussion when the release is released.

The basis of the Hydra is a strong and lightweight frame made of aluminum tubes. The design focuses on the maximum use of sensitive electrovelvell components. Components such as engine and transmission, steering wheel and sensors are available from them. The total weight of the device is less than 50 kilograms, the dimensions can be transported in an inivan or off-road. This approach to layout can be considered optimal for those who love outdoor activities.

The electric motor power of 1500W drives the lead screw, and the battery capacity is required indefinitely. At this speed, the aquabike is 20 km/h, the permissible load is solid kmrim. When the energy starts, you can continue swimming, pedaling.

At the moment, there is no information on Hydra equipment options and prices for them. But there is a video where you can see the prototype in action.
