Softline, an international IT solutions provider, has acquired Microsoft’s Turkish cloud services partner, Markonet. Recently, the parties signed an agreement.

Softline Acquires Turkish Cloud Services Partner Microsoft

The acquisition will enable Softline to strengthen its existing business in Turkey’s emerging ICT market, valued at $29.9 billion in 2021, TASS reports.

Makronet was founded in 2000. The company is an IT solutions provider focused exclusively on Microsoft cloud technologies. In addition to this, it also offers software asset management and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) security services.

In fiscal year 2021, Softline’s turnover reached $2.2 billion. Last fall, the company made an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange. Since the end of fiscal year 2020, the provider has acquired several companies with a total annual turnover of around $200 million and five more acquisitions have been announced since the beginning of 2022.
