YouTube announced this Wednesday (28), it will have a section called “Personal Stories” for health-related searches in Portuguese, after observing users search for videos to understand complex things in a digestible way.
According to the platform, when people search for videos about diseases, content produced by someone who has the disease will be shown. This is because YouTube realizes that users tend to do these types of searches to better understand complex diseases and human biology.
Google’s video app highlighted people-oriented issues as research. Some questions are “How do I live with it?”; “How did other people live with it?”; “Did it ever get better?”;” How can I support my loved one in this regard?”
