Lenovo recently got a new Chromebook targeting cloud gaming. HE Ideapad 5i Gaming It has similar specs to the company’s laptops, betting on features like a 120Hz display and 12th-gen Intel CPUs.

The screen is one of the highlights of the laptop, with a 16-inch IPS panel in 16:10 format. Quad HD resolution (2560×1440)refresh rate 120Hzand 350 nits of brightness, in addition to 100% sRGB color gamut coverage. The model is also TÜV Rheinland certified, which reduces blue light emission to prevent eye strain.

The laptop has two processor versions, both from Intel. It is possible to choose between Core i3-1215U6 cores (2 performance and 4 efficiency) or Core i5-1235U, 10 cores (2 performance and 8 efficiency). 8GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB internal storage round out the specs.

In terms of connectivity, the Ideadpad 5i is equipped with Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi; and ports include 2x USB Type-A, 2x USB Type-C, p3 and microSD input for phone and microphone. The laptop weighs around 1.8kg and comes with an integrated 1080p webcam. Battery details were not disclosed.

Compatible with services like Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce Now and Amazon Luna, the Lenovo Ideapad 5i Gaming will be available in the United States at the end of the month for US$599, or around R$3,150 by direct conversion. There is no estimated arrival date in Brazil yet.
