It has been learned that Apple, one of its suppliers, announced the need to reduce the production of the iPhone 14 Plus due to weak demand. Most buyers only get the iPhone 14 Pro, which costs $100 more. For comparison: In the West, the iPhone 14 Plus costs $899 and the iPhone 14 Pro costs $999.
The company’s two factories, which Apple has ordered to cut production of the iPhone 14 Plus, have already reportedly reduced production by 70% and 90%.
At the same time, there are no surprises among experts about what is going on. Many, including authoritative insider Ming-Chi Ko, talked about potentially weak sales of the iPhone 14 Plus, as the lack of demand was evident at the low pre-order level.
