At the time of its release in Russia (in 2018), Google Pixel 3 cost about 75 thousand rubles. Now it can be purchased for only 11 thousand. But how relevant is it today compared to the Samsung A53 and iPhone 13 Pro Max?

Compared to smartphone models that cost about 12 thousand rubles today, Pixel 3 is equipped with support for wireless charging. Even the Galaxy A53, which costs more than 20 thousand rubles, does not have such a function. Although it should be said that the fingerprint scanner of the Pixel is located on the back panel, this is not very convenient.

Also, there are no unnecessary pre-installed apps from Google on the smartphone. Performance-wise, the Pixel 3 is similar to the iPhone: it’s just as fast and looks just as good from the outside. And it runs Android 12.

The Pixel 3 screen has an OLED matrix, a resolution of 2160×1080, a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Also, Google Pixel devices are known to have excellent maintainability.

Pixel’s main camera has 12 MP and supports optical stabilization. Compared to the Pixel 3, the night mode of the Samsung A53 also does not work (see photo below). As for video, a smartphone can record it at a maximum of 4K 30fps and with weak sound.

The Snapdragon 845 processor is installed on the Pixel 3. This is a good flagship chip. At the moment, 4 GB of memory is not enough for an already old and comfortable use of a smartphone, but the games are still well optimized.

On AnTuTu, the Samsung Galaxy A53 far outperforms the Pixel 3 with a score of around 442K compared to the Pixel 298K. At the same time, if you use the Google Pixel 3 for ordinary daily tasks and not for games, it will run very fast.

Of the minuses of the Pixel 3, the battery is only 3000 mAh.

Despite a few shortcomings, the Google Pixel 3 smartphone is worth buying. In addition, any smartphone with similar characteristics today will cost not 11 thousand rubles, but at least 18-20 thousand rubles. Also, Pixel 3 supports flagship features that are not available on mobile devices for 30 thousand rubles.
