Established five years ago, California-based start-up Canoo, specializing in the production of electric vehicles, has developed a light tactical cargo electric vehicle (LTV) for working in extreme conditions and participated in military operations. As conceived by the creators, he will be able to transport a variety of goods “from plywood to military equipment.”

At the beginning, it was a completely civilian electric vehicle for family vacations and travel, but at some point representatives of the US Army became interested in it. As a result – a contract this year for the development of its base for special tactical transport vehicles.

LTV has withstood the extreme conditions of the war zone, for which the body and identified components were made of composite materials and Kevlar, which revealed stability and low weight. Depending on the task performed, two versions are provided – in the form of a pickup truck and a flatbed truck. For the safety of transported goods, LTV is equipped with a system of fastenings.

High cross-country ability is ensured by 32-inch tires, raised suspension with pneumatic springs. More detailed information about the electric car in the company promises not to arrest for committing a serial production.
