And since only Russia produces these missiles, this ammunition “cannot be bought on the world market for obvious reasons.” Gerashchenko expressed his concern that the Buk and S-300 complexes will become unusable when the missiles for these air defense systems run out.

In this regard, Gerashchenko sought additional military assistance from the United States.

“Once these missiles are gone, our Buk and S-300 systems will be absolutely useless to protect our air,” Gerashchenko said.
