Yandex announced the future construction of the underground part of the new headquarters in Moscow, and also showed the design of the future office.
Underground coverage area of five floors. Three estimated waiting times for 1,630 cars and motorcycles. This is more than in all current Moscow offices.
There will also be spaces for bicycles, scooters and electric scooters in the parking lot. Next to it, the company equips changing rooms and showers.
Engineering facilities and a sports complex occupying a 25-meter swimming pool, a gym and a large hall for basketball, volleyball, mini-football and tennis will be located in the first and second places. Nearby are small halls for squash, yoga, dancing and other activities.
The first two floors of the headquarters will be for everyone. Anyone can come to Yandex, for example, to have lunch. Also in the new version, a new Yandex museum is calculated, which will be much larger than the existing one.
Medium infection levels start for employees. It will be possible to get here only with a pass. At this stage, re-admissions, medical rooms, play areas for children and areas for interviews are expected.
Offices are divided into full-fledged work areas and co-working spaces for those who work from home and rarely visit the headquarters. You can also work on sofas and armchairs, which will be placed throughout the building.
On the upper floors there will be an open terrace with views of Moscow. Here you can relax and work.
From the west, the building will be surrounded by a large park of the Palace of Pioneers, and from the east by a chestnut grove. In the grove, the company is making a mini-park with paths, benches and lighting.
The new headquarters will have about 70 elevators, as well as a large number of stairs to allow employees to move between floors faster.
