A study conducted by Yandex 360 and A2:Research showed that about 85% of employees of Russian companies solve business problems after the end of the working day, while correspondence is mainly carried out via instant messaging.
The researchers found that by 2022, work communication has mostly moved to instant messengers. 68% of employees use them to communicate at work.
The second most popular communication channel is corporate mail, in third place is cellular communication.
Approximately 43% take the 24/7 work communication format as a given and are neutral about it. 32% of respondents see nothing wrong with such communication. 18% are not at all happy with sudden messages at work, and 7% put their phone on silent or turn it off completely.
Yandex 360 and A2:Research surveyed around 2.5 thousand respondents over the age of 18 from cities with a population of 100 thousand or more.
