The founder of Dodo Brands, Fedor Ovchinnikov, has announced that he will step down as CEO in 2023. The businessman did not disclose the name of the successor, but outlined the writing of the book with his plans for the future.

Company founder Fedor Ovchinnikov spoke about plans to step down as CEO of Dodo Brands in 2023 on his personal telegram channel.

“I will not leave our business, I will continue to be a shareholder, a member of the board of directors, I will influence strategy and culture, but I will no longer be its current leader,” the businessman wrote.

Ovchinnikov specified that he would transfer the CEO role to someone else, but did not name him. The businessman described his future plans to write a book with ideas, which “will be aimed mainly at his colleagues.”

In October 2022, Ovchinnikov announced the entry of Dodo Brands into the UAE market. According to the latest data, “Dodo Pizza” operates in Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Vietnam – a total of 15 countries. Earlier, the businessman announced the suspension of development of his other network, Doner 42. The company’s concept was not ready to scale, he explained.
