The Galaxy S23 series will eventually receive four major OS updates, at least until Android 17, which is likely to launch in 2026. But Galaxy S23 support won’t end there. The company’s flagships will receive security patches for five years after launch, which means Samsung will support these phones until at least 2028.

Of course, after the release of Android 17, probably in late 2026 – early 2027, smartphones will not receive major updates, but the company will not deprive their owners of security patches.
