The Moscow Stock Exchange began to calculate and publish a new indicator – the Refined Gold Index. The indicator is calculated daily on the basis of transactions concluded on the site.
The press service of the site spoke about the beginning of the calculation and the publication on the Moscow Stock Exchange of a new indicator of the precious metals market.
The refined gold index is calculated on the basis of transactions in the precious metal concluded on the Moscow Stock Exchange. The calculation is made on the fact of financial transactions in the period from 10:00 to 15:30. The calculation methodology is published on the website of the site.
Kirill Pestov, Managing Director of the relevant department of the Moscow Stock Exchange, described the introduction of a new instrument as the next step to increase market transparency.
On January 16, the Moscow Stock Exchange launched trading in the first Chinese yuan ETF, available for purchase in rubles. Since January 31, the site has been trading futures contracts for the US dollar-Chinese yuan pair, as well as options on them.
