Wildberries is preparing a reform of the payment program for member collection points. The amount of payments will be calculated based on many factors, for example, the standard of living of people in the village and the cost of rent in a particular place.
The Wildberries marketplace will begin calculating payments to PIU owners in a new way. The new payment program will allow entrepreneurs to increase their income, said a Wildberries representative.
The previous rates were valid for self-delivery in different locations, with different incomes and customer traffic. The new system will take into account the different characteristics of each article, namely:
- the number of inhabitants of the settlement and their standard of living;
- the need for a collection point at a particular location;
- the location of the collection point in relation to transport interchanges, shopping centers;
- the cost of rent;
- the novelty of the housing stock;
- PVZ area, its rating.
Wildberries plans to transfer all collection points to the new payment system during 2023.
In January, the market launched a subsidy to open collection points in priority locations, which the market includes the Chukotka, Kamchatka, Vologda, Kostroma, Ingushetia and other regions. Previously, Wildberries introduced an irrevocable mandatory fee of 10,000 rubles to open a collection point.
