Analysts of the Podbor IT service search found that about 16% of developers from more than 300 Russian companies work outside of Russia. Most are in Georgia.
This analytics data was collected from developer profiles on LinkedIn. Georgia is marked as a place of residence in 13.5% of the analyzed profiles. Interestingly, many companies deny information about IT professionals working abroad.
After Georgia, Armenia and Turkey follow in popularity – 12% of the employees of Russian companies are located here. It is followed by Kazakhstan (10.6%), Serbia (7%), Germany (4.2%), Israel (3.6%), the United Kingdom (3.4%) and Thailand (3.3%).
