WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart criticized on Twitter Telegram security and offers to users to switch to other messengers.
In his tweets, Katkart showed up on a recent Wired article exploiting a vulnerability in Telegram that allows private chats to be read.
He also recalled that, by default, Telegram chats do not have end-to-end encryption.
It is important that journalists and politicians prove the truth about Telegram. All too often we see them profit for their work as an “encrypted” application, but they are far from it and expect people to catch it before it’s too late.
Of course, I understand that some are with someone that I criticize Telegram out of selfish motives. But there are many other great end-to-end encrypted messaging apps that people choose from. If you are discouraged from using WhatsApp, write down one of them – don’t write down Telegram.

In the end, the Cathkarts ransom people by not using Telegram and switching to any other messenger, not necessarily WhatsApp.
It is worth noting that Pavel Durov previously widely used WhatsApp, including for the insecurity of correspondence. He also urges people not to use WhatsApp and switch to other messengers. [Phone Arena]
