Galaxy S23+ is equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The same is found on the older Ultra model, and it didn’t perform well in a similar drop test. Then curved glass was blamed for everything. But despite the flat screen on the Galaxy S23+, this model’s fate was the same: It failed the test for the first-lap drop from the waistline.
The cracks in the flat panels of the S23+ were much less than the cracks in the curved panels of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. In both cases, the touchscreen continued to display content and accept touch input without any issues.
