2007 iPhone sold for $63,000

The 8 GB iPhone costs $599 per year. Its owner said that he received the device as a gift. Nearly 16 years later, he decided to bid on LCG Auctions.

Bidding started at $2,500, the device was expected to sell for $50,000. During the auction, the owner received 27 bids. As a result, the device was sold for almost 106 times more expensive than the cost of the model in the year of release – for $63,000.

The owner did not use the phone in 2007 because Apple devices at the time only worked on AT&T networks.

Earlier, Apple released the sales of the used iPhone 13 model.
