The Ministry of Digital Development is launching a new service: special mail for children. Any child can use the service for study or communication, according to the agency’s Telegram channel. It is proposed to register an email box through the Gosuslug portal.

Mintsifra launched the safe child mail

The service is intended for adolescents and children under 14 years of age. The department explained that child mail automatically blocks unwanted content, spam and advertising.

In addition, the child will not be able to read a letter from an unknown sender without the knowledge of the parents. Messages from new addresses are first sorted into the “For Review” folder, and only after parental permission will the child see the letter.

The service is easy to use: input is via SMS, that is, the child does not have to come up with and remember a password.

An email box can be registered by creating a child’s account in “Gosuslugi”.

Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported that from June 1, two-factor authentication via SMS will be mandatory in Gosuslugakh. The feature itself will appear on the portal on March 1st.
