Right click on the folder and go to “Properties”. Then click “Change Icon” in the “Settings” tab. You can choose any blank icon (an icon without an icon).

After that, the folder will no longer appear. True, it will also stand out when allocating space on the desktop where it is located. Also, your folder can still be found by any file manager.
