“What if we told you that the story being told about modern technology isn’t quite as it should be?” asks a new Kickstarter campaign to make a movie about Draper’s life.
Draper, 79, is often remembered for his friendships with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, and Draper’s Apple Computer, Inc. His affiliation with the movie is even reflected in the title of the movie, Employee 13. The trailer promises a bigger story about the life of Draper, an “eccentric genius who turned from a penniless hacker to a millionaire.”
The film is in preparation, but financial assistance can be made already. The poster for the movie called Draper “a hacker, Internet pioneer, and privacy advocate.”
