The host of the HONEST BLOG YouTube channel compared the features of the Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro Plus smartphones, as well as the quality of photos and videos. Do these devices differ from each other in terms of cameras?

In terms of video, the 10 Pro Plus is better: this is only because unlike the 10 Pro it can shoot at 4K 30fps (and the 10 Pro only at Full HD 30fps). Also, the dynamic range is noticeably wider on the 10 Pro Plus: it doesn’t light up the sky in video. At the same time, the stabilization works better in the Pro version, although the picture is slightly cropped during shooting. If we compare shooting at Full HD 30fps, the image as a whole is better on the 10 Pro Plus, including in terms of night stabilization.

In terms of photography, results vary. For example, portrait shots come out better on the 10 Pro overall, although the 10 Pro Plus has more detail. Some photos taken with the 10 Pro Plus have overexposure, while the 10 Pro does not. In low light, the 10 Pro Plus again takes the lead. You can see sample images below.

With narrower edges in the hand, the 10 Pro Plus feels like a thinner smartphone compared to the 10 Pro.

The 10 Pro and 10 Pro Plus are also very different from each other in terms of display. The 10 Pro has an IPS matrix, while the 10 Pro Plus has AMOLED. Accordingly, in the latter the colors are more contrasting and deeper.

Although the processors in smartphones are different, in general, the devices work at more or less the same speed. It does, however, respond slightly faster to pressing the 10 Pro Plus. AnTuTu 10 Pro gets 422K points (Snapdragon 695), 10 Pro Plus gets 255K points (Size 1080 5G). In terms of restrictions, the devices also show good results: practically no performance drops. You can also play Genshin Impact on both smartphones at maximum graphics settings.

The 10 Pro comes with a 33-watt battery that fully charges the smartphone for 1 hour 10-20 minutes. With the 10 Pro Plus, you get 67W charging that delivers a 100% charge in 45 minutes. Either way, the smartphone will definitely be enough for the whole day.

Both smartphones – both Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro Plus – can be called excellent representatives of the middle price category (within 20 thousand rubles and 35 thousand rubles, respectively). Of course, although there are quite a few competitors on the market today, including Samsung, Pixel and other smartphones.
