The Kazakh subsidiary of VTB Bank began issuing plastic cards of the Russian Mir payment system. This is stated in the message from the credit institution.
They recalled that at the end of last year digital cards began to be available.
What opportunities does the card give:
- Shopping in Russia
- Withdraw funds from Mir-compatible ATMs
- Make transfers from Mir cards from any bank
- Make online purchases in Russian markets and services
- Make payments in the VTB KZ Online mobile app
You can recharge the card at ATMs and bank tellers.
“The card will become indispensable for people who travel to Russia for study, work or personal reasons. After all, thanks to it, you can always pay for purchases and withdraw money,” the credit institution said in a statement.
VTB Kazakhstan services not only its own cards, but also foreign ones, so you can withdraw funds without restrictions on the number of transactions.
A physical card will cost 2,000 tenge ($4.46) to issue, while a digital one can be issued for free.
