The first bill proposes changes regarding endorsement penalties if the company allows Russians’ personal data to be leaked repeatedly. It was proposed to impose a turnover penalty from 5 million to 500 million rubles. For the primary leak phenomenon, the state will charge a fixed fine.
The second bill includes amendments to the Penal Code: harsher penalties should be adopted for those participating in shadow forums that trade Russian personal data.
