885 domestic companies joined the lawsuit against the Russian “daughter” of Google – Google LLC. Among them are Mediascope, Kommersant, Skilfactory, VK and others, Vedomosti writes.
Now only 66 companies with declared claims for 105 million rubles are included in the register of creditor claims of the third stage against Google.
A publication interlocutor between the plaintiffs said that the company launched contextual advertising on Google. At the moment presentation Google filed for bankruptcy in June 2022 and suspended the provision of advertising services, he had money left in his account at the advertising office, which now cannot be taken from him. The organization went to court, but does not expect to return the money.
The bankruptcy case also included the requirement of Roskomnadzor in the amount of 19.6 billion rubles. The department explained that this is a part does not pay fine, the total amount of fines is 28.3 billion rubles, of which only 62 million were paid voluntarily by the company, and more than 8.7 billion were forced recovered bailiffs
The lawyers confirm that the plaintiffs paid for advertising services that were not actually provided. Oleg Permyakov, a specialist at Rustam Kurmaev and Partners, added that the subsidiary would first have to pay a fine and then satisfy creditors’ claims, if it could.
