The former head of Revolut in Russia, Bogdan Uzbekov, announced the launch of the Apron fintech service in the UK. The entrepreneur acts as founder and executive director of the project.
Apron was registered in the UK in 2021, but the launch of the service has just been announced. The company offers a b2b application with a set of tools that allow you to conveniently manage business finances and accounting and save time verifying multiple accounts.
The Apron website already has testimonials from London businesses. Middle Eastern restaurant Bubala and London-based software developer M3ter used the app.
Revolut, where Uzbekov worked, was founded in 2015 by Nikolai Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko. It has become the UK’s most valuable fintech startup. In 2022, Storonsky renounced his Russian citizenship after Ukraine imposed sanctions on his father.
