This Wednesday (11) WABetaInfo Announced a new feature coming to WhatsApp soon: a shortcut for message replies. The novelty would be next to the reactions button, a feature released last week for most devices.
Currently, in the desktop app, the user can quickly reply to a message in two ways: by selecting “Reply” from the direct message options or by double-tapping the message line.
In the new WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2218.0 update, a third method has been added that introduces the shortcut button next to the option to react to a message. Check the screenshot provided by WABetaInfoNext;
With the new button, it will be possible to reply to a message with just two clicks on the shortcut. The tool under development in WhatsApp Desktop Beta should be released in future updates and as expected, it will likely go through some changes before it becomes generally available.
