One in three women will not be able to afford to look for work for more than a month in case of dismissal, as shown by a study by hh.ru and the Miranna.io platform. RB.RU got acquainted with the results.
A survey of more than 5,300 respondents showed that a third of women (33%) in Russia will run out of savings within a month after being laid off; among men, this figure is 21%.
The study showed that in difficult financial circumstances, women, unlike men, tend to rely more on the support of their loved ones and less on their own savings.
39% of women and 24% of men stated that they were able to avoid financial difficulties after being laid off thanks to the support of their relatives. At the same time, for 62% of men, the main factor of personal financial security was their own savings. Less than half of the women (47%) rely on personal funds.
