According to Andrei Yelchaninov, appointed head of Roscosmos, which he voiced to Interfax, the costs required to create a Russian orbital station are about 600 billion rubles, taking into account “all ships, as well as infrastructure.”

At the same time, the top manager specified that it would be possible to say more specifically after the preliminary design is ready, and the costs themselves will amount to “from 300 to 600 billion.” The first phase, within the framework of which computing stations are being prepared, including scientific and energy blocks, as well as a gateway module, will cost 350 billion, and during the second phase, specialists will join the data blocks.

Yelchanov also added that a certain figure is quite serious, but noted that the calculation of the costs of specialists in specialized calculations for all technical calculations, the calculation of “the state of the country’s economy and its financial workload.”

It should be noted here that the contracts for the operation of the ISS will expire next year, while Borisov stated that the consumption in Russia in the ISS will depend on the period of deployment of the domestic station.

Moreover, at the end of last year, Sergei Krikalev noticed pilot programs in Roscosmos, welcomed and developing, until 2028, participation in the program ISS.
