True Gamers, a network of Anton Vasilenko’s esports clubs, has launched robotic dogs at the UAE branch that act as waiters. This was reported to RB.RU by a network representative.

The first three robots will be used one at a time in different clubs in the network in Dubai, by the end of 2024 it is planned to increase their number to 18-20.

The company invested $100,000 in the production of the test technology, and the monthly budget for upgrades averages $10,000.

According to reports, the dogs are free to navigate in space with moving objects, control the presence of goods, deliver food and drinks, and are also integrated into the general control system of the club. Dynamic coasters and holders will be added to them.

One of the main differences with the analogues implemented in other companies and the greatest technical difficulty was the development of delivery mechanics on four arms instead of wheels. The team solved the problems of movement of joints and limbs, stabilization.

True Gamers development partners and consultants were robotics experts from the CIS and the United Arab Emirates. The department for people with disabilities will remotely control the robots, in the future it will be possible to leave tips through the waiter robot.

True Gamers is part of the international holding Cluborg, founded by Anton Vasilenko in 2015. The network includes 119 esports stadiums in Russia and the CIS. In 2022, True Gamers closed a round of 13.5 million dollars.
